ZING - Z39.50 International Next Generation

This site contains my thoughts on, and contributions to, ZING, the ``next generation'' Information Retrieval protocol being worked on by the Z39.50 Maintenance Agency. The official ZING pages at the MA site are no longer maintained, having been superseded by the new SRU pages at www.loc.gov/sru

Here's what I have concerning each of the ZING initiatives:

• SRW material.
• CQL material.
• My ZOOM contributions are on their own site at zoom.z3950.org
• ezZ3950 and XER are dead in the water, if indeed they were ever alive.
  So I have no material about them.
• My ZeeRex contributions are on their own site at explain.z3950.org
